During the mortgage gathering process, a problem popped up: my passport expired. I definitely could not solve it on my own. Arguing with a bank seems to me as a "no chance to win" idea. Dennis, however, was able to prove to the bank, that my residence permit is sufficient and it worked like a charm. I would never expect this to work if I would apply on my own. This is why a mortgage advisor is almost mandatory for an expat like me. Relocation and mortgage acquiring process is, normally, a very stressful thing.
