The adviser did the mortgage for our first house in Amsterdam. We saw other financial advisors before deciding to go with him, but he was the only one giving honest, thoughtful advice: he asks about your current financial situation and your current and future plans, and only at that point he advises on what path to follow regarding the amount and construction of the mortgage (instead of the usual 'just get as much as you can!'). Sometimes he can be a bit hard to reach, but that's the only small downside. He's very knowledgeable, very quick to respond if there's any type of urgency, and also goes the extra mile with small details that make the whole process very pleasant. Overall, we would definitely recommend him as a financial advisor. Felt more like a friend than a guy just doing your mortgage.
