After the initial conversation we sent all papers to start a advice proposal on our mortgage. Nick gave us back said advice to sign. After we signed, he told us I was unable to get a mortgage because my contract was not valid.
We paid 300 euros then and now 700 more. We feel 300 euros is enough because if he had gone thought my contract he would not need to proceed with the proposal. This proposal was never sent to any financial institution.
After consulting other mortgage advisors, we would like to make a complaint to finac and we will start to evaluate a formal complaint to made to Kifid. This will also be sent to finac general info email.

We are sorry to read your negative review, however, we do not agree with the events you have outlined.
After our initial meeting, in which you indicated that you had been incorrectly advised by your previous advisor, you asked Finac to apply for a mortgage. Three days after your initial payment, you indicated that you had chosen for another advisor and that we should keep the down-payment.
Two weeks later, you contacted Finac again to start up the advisory process because it turned out that the requested financing with the new advisor was again not possible. Due to the urgency of your situation we immediately started working for you and made a mortgage application and you received an intrest rate offer from Obvion which you and your wife signed and returned to us. During the application process it turned out that the information and explication your provided deviated from the actual situation and therefore financing was not feasible. At that point we did not stop our service to you but focused on trying to resolve the situation and actively assisted you for several weeks.
You had decided on a solution which would take a few month to realize and it was agreed that we would then be able to finalize the mortgage. After two month and several failed attempts to contact you, you informed us you had gone back to the first advisor and were able to finalized your mortgage.
After this time consuming proces, which had taken 3 months, we charged you only for the amount in the event of premature termination of the advisory process. The costs charged in this event were known to you in advance.
If you wish to lodge a formal complaint we will handle it according to the official guidelines.
