I arrived to the Netherlands 1,5 years ago and after that time I decided to buy a house. When we introduced our Expat Service years ago I knew we would be able to help many people who were finding themselves in unfamiliar territory after moving to The Netherlands. Buying a house comes with many uncertainties as for making the right offer, getting the right financing in order and other matters of a fiscal and financial nature. In this case we had to hit multiple goals if we were going to be able to succeed. And all of this in a limited timeframe so we could avoid an extra transfer tax that would have been a substantial amount.
